Summary:
This exercise was was used to develop different styles. The same subject was portrayed in two separate styles. Spyro, the dragon published by Sony Entertainment was drawn in his original cartoon style. While a generic dragon was drawn in a style popular within fantasy films, video games and illustrations. During the exercise I examined both styles and discovered the features set to each.
The realistic style turned out quite well, as texture was smooth and the subject appeared in a 3D space. The cartoon style needs some improvements for the grainy shading, apart from that the cartoon style showed promise in its curved form.
